On Wednesday, June 26th, the Women Entrepreneurs of Berkeley and Berkeley Chamber of Commerce partnered with the City of Berkeley's Office of Economic Development to host the inaugural Women's Leadership Exchange at glassybaby Berkeley.
More than 35 women started the evening with Guided Purposeful Networking by Brigette Iarrusso while sipping Home Based Spirits whiskey mules and bites from The Farmer and the Fig, KC's BBQ and CupCakin’ Bakeshop, all women owned businesses. Guests then had an opportunity to break down barriers, commune with other women in business in Berkeley, tap into their creativity and build confidence by engaging in improv activities with Susie Sargent of Un-Scripted Theatre. Through the course of the evening, 17 guests had a chance to try their hand at making their own glass creation with a professional glassblower, and the evening wrapped with a guided meditation with Wangmo Dixie of Dharma College. The Event was a success and will be a staple WEB annual event. |
