Making Berkeley Safer | I80/Gilman St. Interchange Tess Lengyel, Executive Director of the Alameda County Transportation Commission, shared information about the Interstate 80/Gilman Street Interchange Improvements project in the City of Berkeley. This vital project, with the support of state, federal and local funds, will enhance safety and provide multimodal accessibility for all. Work includes a new, elevated pedestrian/bicycle bridge, two roundabouts on either side of I-80 and it will close the gap along the Bay Trail. |
