Temporarily Stop or Reduction of Refuse Service Call Refuse Customer Service, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm at 510-981-7270 for either: 1. Temporary Stop Service. Please ensure that all of your containers are secured (inside a building or enclosure) and not left on the curbside. Businesses that cannot secure their containers, we can remove them and then return when your business is reopened. Fees will be suspended. 2. Reduction in Service. If you would like to reduce your service to meet your business needs, this can be accommodated through either a reduction in container size or in the number of days per week that your business receives service. Fees will be reduced accordingly. In addition to the options above, late fees, penalties, and interest charges will be waived.
