    Join us on Friday February 3rd at 4:00PM along with Mayor Jesse Arreguin and City Councilmember Kriss Worthington as we welcome 1951 Coffee Company to the Telegraph district!

    1951 Coffee is a new nonprofit founded in Berkeley, CA, that supports recently arrived refugees and asylees through job training and employment opportunities in the coffee industry. Come help 1951 celebrate the opening of our first coffee shop, located at 2410 Channing Way in between Telegraph Avenue and Dana Street. Your patronage at 1951 will directly help create a welcoming community for refugees while enjoying the best cup of coffee in town. Come to 1951 and help us spread the word that in Berkeley, refugees are supported, cherished, and welcome!
